Heidenhain TNC426/430 RS232 Input/output
Select PROG & EDIT mode and press PGM MGT
Press soft-key WINDOW to show files in both windows
- goto left window and press soft-key PATH
- goto directory, eg. TNC, and then press ENT to show files in Left Hand window
- goto right window and press soft-key PATH
- goto RS232 and press ENT
- Press soft-key FILES
To Output A Program
Prepare the external Computer ready to receive a Program
Check that the direction arrow in soft-key COPY ABC-->XYZ is correct,
ie , FROM ABC TO XYZ. If it is not, <-- or --> to change the direction.
goto left window, and highlight the file to be output.
Press soft-key COPY ABC-->XYZ, then soft-key EXECUTE. The file is output.
To Intput A Program
In the left window, select the target directory with the soft-key PATH
Check that the direction arrow in soft-key COPY ABC¬ XYZ is correct,
ie , FROM XYZ TO ABC. If it is not, ¬ or ® to change the direction.
Press the soft-key COPY ABC¬ XYZ. At the top of the screen is shown
DESTINATION FILE = .....
--> to the end of the directory name, then type in the filename, eg. LICOM.H
Press soft-key EXECUTE. The screen shows " COPY IN PROGRESS"
Output the Program from the external computer
If the output is ended with ^C the " COPY IN PROGRESS" will disappear.
Or when the transmission is finished, press soft-key END to terminate RS232
