We recently had a problem trying to open files in Alphacam, where the menu File, Open would not always work.
You could click the mouse pointer on the File, Open menu command, or icon and nothing would happen. Sometimes you could try numerous times before the choice of files to open would appear.
If you the fast keys ctrl + O this would work every time.
The computer was a Pentium III
450 MHz
64 Meg Ram
Running Windows 98 `ver 4.10.1998

Microsoft IntelliPoint PS/2 compatible mouse.
We found the problem was fixed by activating a setting under the Mouse Properties.
If anyone is experiencing this problem they will need to select the option:
'Snap to- - Automatically move pointer to default button or center of dialog box'
You will find this under Settings, Control Panel, mouse.
