Input CAD Explained
The most common support questions in the UK are related to the Input CAD function of AlphaCAM.
Files from 3rd Party CAD software are often imported into AlphaCAM for machining.
Inputcad.pdf found in the library (click list files in the menu), is a definitive guide to the Input CAD function and gives detailed descriptions of dialog boxes, file formats and manipulation functions used when working with 3rd party CAD files.
You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader ver 4.0 or later to read the *.pdf file. Adobe Acrobat Reader is available as freeware from www.adobe.com and can also be found by browsing the AlphaCAM CD.
