When text is used, AlphaCAM allows you to select which layer to put the text onto. You can choose Text (yellow) Dimension (white) or Geometry (green).
If you use the mirror command on text, the following rules apply...
Text on the Geometry layer will mirror in the same way that all other geometry is mirrored.
Text on the Text and Dimension layers maintain their correct orientation. It is assumed that Text and Dimension layers are information only.
Toolpaths cannot be applied to the Text or Dimension layer. Geometry > Edit Text allows you to change text layers in order to do this.
