Disabling the Windows Vista Aero Interface when Running Alphacam

Disabling the Aero interface can sometimes resolve graphics issues when running Alphacam within Windows Vista.  The Aero interface can always be turned off completely by changing the Color Scheme within Windows Vista, but this is not always desired.  To disable  Aero automatically when running Alphacam, simply follow the steps below.  Upon exiting Alphacam, the Aero interface will be re-enabled.

Disabling Aero When Running Alphacam

1. Right-click on the appropriate Alphacam shortcut
2. Click Properties from the context menu
3. Click the Compatibility tab
4. In the Setting section, click the Disable desktop composition option
5. Click the OK button
