These forums have been created as a point of discussion for all users of Alphacam's software, for the mutual benefit of Alphacam customers. They are closely monitored by Alphacam's support staff to ensure correct usage.
Your personal details will not be made explicitly available to any third parties outside Alphacam Systems Ltd. Moreover, your profile, e-mail address and website will not be displayed in any threads if you choose not to display your profile.
To use the Alphacam forums, you should enable session cookies in your browser. This procedure varies from browser to browser. Please refer to your browser documentation for details on how to do this.
You may browse the forums anonymously, but you will be unable to post to the forums until you have signed up as a forums user and have logged in.
To view the threads (topics) in a forum, click on the forum name from the forums home page. By default, this presents you with a list of threads containing posts which have been created since your previous log in. You can change this to view all threads by clicking on the 'Show All Threads' radio button.
To view a thread, click on the thread title. This presents you with the original post and, where applicable, a number of responses to this post. If you are logged in, you will be able to post a new message to the thread by clicking on 'New Post', or reply quoting a message by clicking on 'Reply with Quote'.
You can edit or delete any of you previous postings at any time by clicking 'Edit / Delete' on the appropriate posting.
Depending on how the person who posted the original message has his/her preferences set, you may also be able to e-mail him/her directly, view his/her profile, and visit his/her website.
You must log in to post to the forums.
To start a new thread (topic), select the appropriate forum and click on 'New Thread'.
To post a message to an existing thread, click 'New Post' from any message in the thread, or reply quoting a message by clicking on 'Reply with Quote'.
You must be an existing user to do this. Select 'Edit My Details' from the forums menu after you have logged in to the forums.
You must be an existing user to do this. Select 'Member List' from the forums menu.
Select 'Search' from the forums menu. Enter the exact search term you wish to find. Do not use logic operands or words (i.e. +, -, AND, OR, etc.).
Select 'Log Out' from the forums menu. This logs you out of the forums. Future visits to forums will require you to log in.
